The Role

As a Sales and Education Executive, you will focus on building an educational foundation of your Sephora and other key retail partners. In this role, you will represent the brand by sharing your skills and knowledge with a focus on building store partnership and maximizing the brand business in each of your stores. You will act as a brand trainer and ambassador who brings the brand to life every day by creating a unique experience for store associates and clients.

 

As a  Sales & Education Team Executive, you will:

  • Be out in the stores exclusively on Sephora floors, embodying The 7 Virtues’ spirit and story to customers in your city.
  • Sell, engage, and educate, sharing the benefits of our 24-hour-lasting clean perfumes and wellness aromatherapy properties.
  • Represent the clean beauty revolution, as a leader in the fragrance category with a focus on sustainability and kindness.
  • Interview on the floor with Barb Stegemann herself and or Our Head of Sales & Education during your interview. Barb is the only perfume founder who works directly alongside her team in the field on the floor and she’ll be there to see your energy, charisma, and ability to close sales. She feels if you are going to work for 8 hours on your feet so will she! She loves being on the floor with clients and Sephora Beauty Advisors, that’s where the magic happens! 
  • Report to the Head of Sales and Education while also enjoying direct access to the founder for mentorship, collaboration, and innovation.

 Sales growth

  • Arrange and spearhead business review meetings with store leadership. Responsible for developing and executing action plans based on key store opportunities.
  • Communicate and strategize with home office regarding business performance, stock/merchandising issues as well as insights into store dynamics.
  • Own weekly, monthly and yearly total retail performance within region/territory. Must maintain knowledge of trends of individual business segments and key business drivers within each segment.
  • Monitor ranking and competitive retail performance within each store. Ensure rank increase objectives are being met.
  • Recruit, train and “Sephora-ize”, and motivate freelancers (when engaged) and other brand representatives (when engaged) for flawless event execution.

Education and events

  • Lead group and round robin trainings at conferences, call centers and new store openings.
  • Oversee education and training of launches and key focus products customized to the business dynamics of each store. Develop relationships and partner with key influencers who will help drive business in each store.
  • Plan, communicate and execute all in-store events to ensure achievement of retail goal.

 Operations management

  • Monitor merchandising compliance, stock flow, and endcap/gondola/linear/Beauty on the Fly set up within each store.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory and allocation via daily monitoring of ACCR and partnership with operations leads.

 Retailer partnership

  • Arrange and spearhead business review meetings with store leadership. Responsible for developing and executing action plans based on key store opportunities.
  • Develop best-in-class brand partner relationships to amplify education and selling depth at store level.
  • Gain retailer, store associate and store leadership buy-in.
