The 7 Virtues is looking for a Full-Time Perfume Atelier Alchemist to join our team on the beautiful Halifax waterfront.
We are a Canadian fragrance brand sold in over 2,100 Sephora stores globally, and our Halifax Perfume Atelier brings our world of fragrance to life through an immersive, hands-on experience where guests design and name their own perfume.
We’re looking for someone with a naturally happy disposition, high energy and a genuine love of taking care of people.
Who We're Looking For
You have experience in any of the following:
• Customer service
• Travel and tourism
• Retail
• Restaurants or hospitality
• Experiential events
More important than where you've worked is how you make people feel.
You are positive, welcoming, high energy and comfortable meeting people from around the world. You’re an excellent problem solver who can think on your feet, adapt quickly and find solutions while keeping the guest experience exceptional.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly seasonal environment. During the summer, you can keep up with the energy and pace of the Halifax waterfront. During the shoulder season, you bring ideas to the table and look for creative ways to build excitement, attract guests and grow the Atelier.
That could mean shooting social media content, dreaming up new experiences, collaborating with other local brands and businesses or finding new ways to bring people through our doors.

Being bilingual in English and French, Canada’s two official languages, is an asset.
The Role
As a Perfume Atelier Alchemist, you’ll welcome guests and guide them through the experience of creating their own perfume. You’ll also assist with private groups and events, support retail sales and help keep our beautiful Atelier running smoothly.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute creatively to the Atelier, from social media content and local collaborations to events and ideas that help us grow throughout the year.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility around the Atelier’s scheduling needs. Hours may vary depending on appointments, private events, tourism season and guest demand, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
